The US sent a 15-point peace plan to Iran
Washington, March 25 (Hibya) - It was reported that the United States (US) presented Iran with a 15-point peace plan via Pakistan in order to end the war that has entered its fourth week.
According to CCTV, details that emerged in the media on Tuesday indicated that the plan covers Iran’s ballistic missile and nuclear programs, as well as the security of navigation in maritime routes, including the Strait of Hormuz.
The draft proposed by the US requires Iran to dismantle its nuclear capacity, completely halt uranium enrichment activities, and make a permanent commitment not to acquire nuclear weapons.
The plan also calls for Iran to cut financial and military support to allied groups in the region and to guarantee that the Strait of Hormuz will remain open to international maritime traffic.
It was stated that the Iranian side continues to insist that the conflict will not end unless compensation demands are met and sanctions are lifted.
It was also emphasized that Iran must stop financing and arming allied groups in the region and guarantee that the Strait of Hormuz remains open to international shipping.
