Washington, May 25 (Hibya) - United States (US) President Donald Trump commemorated soldiers who sacrificed their lives for their homeland in a message published on the occasion of Memorial Day, observed every year on the last Monday of May.
In his commemorative message, US President Donald Trump highlighted the sacrifices of heroes who paid the ultimate price for the nation’s survival and freedom.
Emphasizing the unbreakable bond between the nation’s independence and the sacrifice of fallen soldiers, Trump said: “We honor those who sacrificed their lives so that our Republic may stand, those who died so that our nation may live.”
Referring to America’s global mission of freedom and the legacy of those who lost their lives for this cause, Trump concluded his statement with the following words:
