Trump: I canceled the expected second wave of attacks
Washington, January 9 (Hibya) – United States President Donald Trump announced that he has abandoned the planned second wave of military attacks.
U.S. President Donald Trump made statements regarding the new process underway with Venezuela and energy-focused cooperation steps.
Assessing the steps taken by the Venezuelan administration, Trump said: “Venezuela is releasing a large number of political prisoners as a sign of seeking peace. This is a very important and wise move.”
Referring to the scale of energy cooperation between the two countries, Trump stated: “The United States and Venezuela are cooperating well to rebuild oil and natural gas infrastructure in a much larger, better, and more modern way.”
Sharing changes in military plans and investment targets, Trump concluded: “Thanks to this cooperation, I canceled the previously expected second wave of attacks; it appears there will be no need for it, however, for security reasons all ships will remain in place. Major oil companies will invest at least $100 billion, and I will meet with them at the White House today.”
