US President Donald Trump announced that in-person early voting had begun in Ohio and called on voters to head to the polls.

Trump urged voters planning to vote by mail to send in their ballots immediately and called on those voting in person to go to the polls. Trump said, "Encourage everyone you know to vote Republican in every race, up and down the ballot."

Trump also addressed early voting, absentee voting and mail-in voting options, arguing that Republicans needed strong voter turnout to gain an electoral advantage. Noting that in-person early voting in Ohio would continue until November 1, Trump said, "This is very important. Please get out and vote."

Trump reiterated his call for support for Republicans in his statement with the slogan "MAGA!"
