Trump: They voted against tax cuts and border security
Washington, October 21 (Hibya) - US President Donald Trump criticized Democrats in Congress on a range of issues, particularly tax cuts, border security, voter identification requirements, and energy costs.
US President Donald Trump criticized Democrats in Congress on a range of issues, particularly tax cuts, border security, voter identification requirements, and energy costs. Claiming that Democrats had opposed measures introduced by his administration, Trump said, "Every single Democrat in Congress voted against our record tax cuts, no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security benefits for our seniors."
Trump also criticized Democrats' positions on election security and immigration policies, saying, "They voted against voter ID, proof of citizenship, and securing the border." Trump further alleged that Democrats supported the highest inflation and energy costs in the country's history.
Trump also voiced criticism of social policies, accusing Democrats of supporting practices he described as "the mutilation of children as part of gender transitions" and the participation of men in women's sports. Trump's remarks once again brought political divisions between Republicans and Democrats over taxation, immigration, the economy, and social policies into focus.
