Tsahkna: Attacks on civilian infrastructure are unacceptable
Bratislava, May 22 (Hibya)- Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna criticized Iran’s attacks on Gulf countries during his meeting with the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and stated that Estonia stands in solidarity with the UAE.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna met with United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan within the scope of GLOBSEC.
During the meeting, security developments in the Middle East and Iran’s attacks on Gulf countries were discussed. Tsahkna stressed that targeting civilian and energy infrastructure is unacceptable.
The statement noted that Estonia stands in full solidarity with the UAE and Gulf countries, emphasizing the need to ensure regional stability, keep the Strait of Hormuz open, and prevent Russia from benefiting from the current crisis.
