Tusk: Inflation falls to 3.5 percent
Warsaw, October 30 (Hibya) - Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that inflation in the country had fallen to 3.5 percent from the previous level of 4.1 percent. Tusk argued that the decline was partly driven by the reintroduction of the CPN initiative aimed at reducing fuel prices.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that inflation in the country had fallen to 3.5 percent from the previous level of 4.1 percent.
Commenting on the decline in inflation, Tusk said, "Inflation has fallen again: 3.5 percent. The previous figure was 4.1 percent." Tusk stated that the decline followed the government's efforts to persuade President Karol Nawrocki to allow the CPN initiative to proceed.
Criticizing the president's policy of vetoes and obstruction, Tusk said, "This situation shows how costly the president's policy of vetoes and obstruction is, not only for the state but also for Polish families."
