Two killed when helicopter crashes into a building near Irish village
Stockholm, July 31 (Hibya) - Two people have died in Ireland after the helicopter they were travelling in crashed into a building near the Irish village of Killucan.
Irish police said the crash happened at around 3.30 pm on Tuesday in farmland east of the village.
A photograph on the RTÉ website shows the helicopter embedded in what appears to be the roof of a farm building.
Police said the two victims were men in their 40s. One is considered an Irish citizen, while the other is from Eastern Europe.
RTÉ television reported that a hearse had arrived at the scene shortly before 6 pm, and emergency services were using their resources for all eventualities.
Locals told RTÉ Drivetime that the accident occurred in a pig pen behind the local Gaelic Athletic Association sports grounds.
