UAE Ministry of Defense: Measures taken against 7 ballistic missiles and 16 drones
Abu Dhabi, March 23 (Hibya) - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense reported that UAE air defense systems took action against 7 ballistic missiles and 16 unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to a statement from the UAE Ministry of Defense, air defense systems neutralized 7 ballistic missiles and 16 drones launched from Iran on March 23, 2026.
The statement noted that since the beginning of the attacks, UAE air defense systems have taken measures against 352 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,789 drones. It also stated:
"As a result of these attacks, 2 members of our armed forces were martyred while carrying out their national duties, and 6 individuals of Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, and Palestinian nationality also lost their lives."
