UAE Ministry of Defense reports 7 ballistic missiles and 27 UAVs neutralized
Abu Dhabi, March 13 (Hibya) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense reported that the country’s air defense neutralized 7 ballistic missiles and 27 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
According to a statement from the UAE Ministry of Defense, the country’s air defense systems neutralized 7 ballistic missiles and 27 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran on March 13.
The ministry stated that since the attacks began, UAE air defenses have neutralized a total of 285 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,567 UAVs. The statement also noted:
"As a result of these attacks, 6 people from the UAE, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh lost their lives. In addition, 141 people sustained minor and moderate injuries among citizens of the UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Türkiye, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, Indonesia, and Sweden."
