Ukraine: More than 260,000 Russian UAVs neutralized
Kyiv, September 5 (Hibya) - Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that since the beginning of 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have neutralized more than 260,000 Russian fixed-wing and helicopter-type unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to a statement by Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) neutralized since the beginning of 2026 were verified through Ukraine's DELTA digital battle management system.
The verified data included approximately 195,000 fixed-wing UAVs and 66,000 helicopter-type UAVs.
The statement said that during the same period, the Ukrainian Defense Forces recorded more than 1 million verified enemy targets struck by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.
The ministry said that the ability to detect, track and neutralize Russian UAVs helps protect the lives of Ukrainian military personnel and civilians. It also noted that the technology makes it possible to identify the most effective solutions and deploy them more rapidly.
