Ukraine welcomes Japan's decision to provide additional financial aid
Kyiv, October 29 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the Japanese Government’s decision to provide additional financial aid to Ukraine, amounting to a total of 471.9 billion yen, was welcomed.
Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that they welcomed the Japanese Government’s decision to provide additional financial aid to Ukraine, totaling 471.9 billion yen.
Zelensky noted that these funds align with the G7 partners' joint decision to allocate $50 billion from frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine, adding, “This invaluable aid will help us save lives, defend our country's independence, and support the Ukrainian people enduring the hardships of Russian aggression.”
Zelensky expressed gratitude for Japan's unwavering support for Ukraine.
