New York, February 27 (Hibya) – United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, stated that over 600,000 people in Sudan are on the brink of famine.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Türk, emphasized that the Sudanese people are enduring unimaginable suffering.
He noted: "Over 600,000 people are facing famine. Violations of international law continue unchecked and with total impunity. Urgent action is needed: a ceasefire, immediate delivery of aid, and a path to peace."
