UN: Today is World Oceans Day


New York, June 8 (Hibya) – The United Nations (UN) announced that today is UN World Oceans Day.

The UN stated that although the ocean is facing growing threats, we still have the power to protect it.

"But we must act. Our voice and our choices matter. Sunday is UN World Oceans Day," the UN said.
