Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini stated that following cold weather, rain, wind and floods in the region, sandstorms have further worsened the living conditions of displaced Palestinians. Lazzarini said that the sandstorms, which have continued for days, have covered the sky and left thick layers of dust over tent camps.

The statement emphasized that in an environment where access to clean water is limited, sandstorms further aggravate hygiene conditions and increase respiratory and skin diseases. It was noted that Gaza’s health system has largely collapsed due to the war, and that UNRWA’s health and water supply teams continue their work to support those in need.

Lazzarini stressed that international aid efforts must restore dignified living conditions for the people of Gaza and called for an increase in shelter materials and the removal of obstacles to humanitarian operations on the ground.
