UNRWA: The risk of famine in the Gaza Strip remains high
New York, October 17 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that the risk of famine in the Gaza Strip remains high in the 12th month of the war.
In a statement from UNRWA, it was noted that the risk of famine in the Gaza Strip remains high in the 12th month of the war, adding:
“More than 1.8 million people are experiencing high levels of acute food insecurity or worse. Among them, 133,000 are facing catastrophic levels of hunger.”
The statement emphasized that access to humanitarian aid is the key to saving lives.
