Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced a new package of financial and military support for Ukraine following her contacts with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

Commenting on the agreement among member states, von der Leyen said: “I welcome the agreement among Member States on the exemption allowing Ukraine to purchase vital products for Patriot air defense systems.”

Sharing the amount and purpose of the funds to be released, the European Commission President said: “The next payment of 3.2 billion euros will enable Ukraine to better protect its airspace from Russia’s indiscriminate attacks.”

Referring also to previous financial assistance, von der Leyen said: “This comes on top of the 8.4 billion euros already disbursed under the Ukraine Support Loan, including for air defense.”

Von der Leyen concluded her statement with the words: “We will continue working hand in hand to support Ukraine and strengthen Europe’s defense posture.”
