Wadephul: I condemn Albanese's statements on Israel
Berlin, February 12 (Hibya) - German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul condemned the recent statements made by United Nations (UN) Special Rapporteur for Palestine Francesca Albanese regarding Israel.
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul issued a statement on the UN's human rights mechanisms and the work of independent rapporteurs.
Wadephul said, "I respect the UN's system of independent rapporteurs. However, Ms. Albanese has made many blunders in the past."
Condemning Albanese's recent statements on Israel, Minister Wadephul concluded his statement with, "I condemn her recent statements on Israel. Her position is indefensible."
