Wadephul: If Cyprus needs us, we will be there
Nicosia, March 10 (Hibya) - German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul met with Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos.
German Foreign Minister Wadephul stated during his meeting in Nicosia with Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos that Germany stands in solidarity with Cyprus.
Emphasizing that the European Union’s security is under even greater pressure due to the conflict in the Middle East, Wadephul said, “If Cyprus needs us, we will be there.”
Wadephul also pointed out that in order to ensure the security of the European Union, unity of action is required from the eastern flank to the Mediterranean.
