Wadephul: Our solidarity with Gulf countries will continue
Berlin, March 5 (Hibya) - German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul delivered a message of full solidarity with Gulf countries and the region against Iran’s attacks during a video conference (VTC) meeting with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul held a VTC meeting today with the GCC together with his European Union counterparts. Wadephul emphasized that the Iranian regime must immediately stop its unjust military attacks against Gulf countries, Jordan and Israel, and called for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Minister Wadephul also thanked partners in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman for ensuring the safe return of German citizens to their country.
Wadephul also stated that citizens were able to cross smoothly thanks to the support of border authorities in the region. The statement emphasized that Germany’s solidarity with the Gulf countries will continue.
