Weel: We strongly advise Israel not to implement these decisions
Amsterdam, February 10 (Hibya) - Dutch Foreign Minister van Weel described Israel's new control measures in the occupied West Bank as contrary to international law.
Dutch Foreign Minister van Weel condemned Israel's new decisions aimed at increasing control over the West Bank. Van Weel said, "This is a clear violation of international law and it moves us further away from a negotiated two-state solution. We strongly advise Israel not to implement these decisions."
The Minister also noted that these steps negatively impact international efforts for peace and stability in the region, emphasizing the Netherlands' firm commitment to a two-state solution based on an independent and viable Palestinian state alongside a secure Israel.
