Wong celebrated Solomon Islands' Independence Day
Adelaide, July 8 (Hibya) - Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong celebrated Solomon Islands' Independence Day.
Australian Foreign Minister Wong met with Solomon Islands Foreign Minister Peter Shannel Agovaka and Solomon Islands Prime Minister Jeremiah Manele to celebrate Solomon Islands' Independence Day.
Wong noted that the two countries share the same region and have a common future: "It was a pleasure to host Prime Minister Manele in Australia last month for his first overseas visit as Prime Minister."
