Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zakharova stated that tourism between Russia and China is steadily increasing, noting that following the implementation of the mutual visa-free travel regime, the number of travelers rose significantly in the first nine months of 2025, reaching 2.4 million.

The spokesperson said they are always pleased to warmly welcome their Chinese friends.

Stating that they are closely monitoring developments in Latin America and the Caribbean region, Zakharova said: “We express our concern over rising tensions and the escalation of aggressive rhetoric. We advocate resolving interstate disputes through political and diplomatic means.”
