Zelensky: Russia is not seeking real peace today and prolonging the war
Kyiv, March 27 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia is not seeking real peace and is prolonging the war.
Zelensky announced that together with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, they discussed the outcomes of the leaders’ summit on supporting Ukraine’s and Europe’s security, and held a meeting at the British Embassy in Paris.
He emphasized that it is important for everyone to understand that Russia is not seeking true peace and is extending the war.
"Following today’s leaders’ meeting, there is a strong confirmation that sanctions on Russia should not be lifted while aggression continues. We will continue working on security guarantees for Ukraine."
Zelensky thanked France and the United Kingdom for their leadership in the coalition of the willing and capable, saying: "Our unity in Europe and joint efforts with the United States and other partners can compel Russia to peace."
