Zelensky: Russia will definitely pay for this attack
Kyiv, September 4 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia will pay for its attacks on Poltava.
Ukrainian President Zelensky reported that he received preliminary reports on the Russian attack on Poltava, stating: "According to available information, two ballistic missiles hit the area. They targeted an educational institution and a nearby hospital, partially destroying one of the buildings of the telecommunications institute."
Zelensky added that people were trapped under the rubble: "Many have been rescued, but more than 180 people were injured. So far, we know that 41 people have lost their lives. I extend my deepest condolences to all their families and loved ones."
Emphasizing that Russia will pay for this attack, Zelensky added: "We continue to warn everyone in the world who has the power to stop this terror: Ukraine needs air defence systems and missiles now, not waiting in storage."
