Zelensky: So far, 8 people have been reported killed across the country
Kyiv, July 30 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky provided information about Russia's missile attacks across the country and the resulting casualties.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that civilians and infrastructure had been targeted in the attacks, extended his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, and said that search and rescue operations were continuing.
Referring to the toll of the attacks and the rescue efforts, Zelensky said, "Last night, a Russian missile strike on Radushne in the Dnipro region killed a mother, a father, and their three children. Two more children were rescued alive from the rubble. An ordinary house was torn apart by a ballistic missile... In Lviv, rescue operations are also continuing at the site where a residential building was struck; debris is being cleared and search efforts are ongoing. So far, 8 people have been reported killed across the country. My condolences go to their families and loved ones."
Stating that the injured were receiving treatment and that emergency services remained active, Zelensky said, "Dozens of people were injured, and everyone is receiving the necessary medical care. All relevant services have been mobilized."
Describing the regions affected and the scale of the destruction, Zelensky said, "Kyiv and the surrounding region, as well as our Dnipro, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions came under attack overnight. Dozens of ordinary homes, civilian businesses, and infrastructure facilities were destroyed or damaged."
