Rome, July 30 (Hibya) - Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni made a statement regarding the renewal of the healthcare sector contract and the value placed on public sector employees.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said that the work of public employees deserves respect, describing the completion of the contract renewal process as a reflection of the government's approach to this issue.
Emphasizing the importance of public employees, Meloni said, "Those who work every day to provide essential services to citizens deserve respect. And respect also comes from recognizing the value of their work."
Drawing attention to the step taken, Meloni stated, "The renewal of the healthcare sector contract completes the renewal process for the main sectors of public administration covering the 2025–2027 three-year period."
Explaining the scope and purpose of the contract, Meloni said, "This is a significant achievement that provides security for millions of public sector employees and their families while confirming a clear choice: valuing those who serve the State every day with competence, responsibility, and dedication."
