Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky assessed the impact of attacks that intensified from the night hours on civilian infrastructure and the energy system.

Sharing data on the scale of the attacks, Zelensky said, “Since the beginning of the day, the Russian army has been carrying out all kinds of attacks on Ukraine: attack drones, missile strikes, artillery fire and assaults along the front line, and the use of aerial bombs.”

Drawing attention to the damage since midnight, Zelensky said, “In the period from midnight to morning alone, there were about 100 attack drones, dozens of assault actions on key front lines, and dozens of air strikes.”

Criticizing the damaged regions and Russia’s intentions, Zelensky stated, “Significant damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, and Kherson regions. Attacks were also carried out on Ukrzaliznytsia locomotives and infrastructure in various regions. Ukraine’s energy system continues to be Russia’s constant target.”

Zelensky said, “All this shows that Russia is not seriously considering the ceasefire and that the only thing concerning the Russian leadership is a short-term silence on Red Square.”
