Zelensky: Ukraine has always been constructive and will remain so
Kyiv, September 6 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with the negotiating team ahead of a meeting with representatives of the U.S. President. Zelensky said Ukraine would continue to take a constructive approach toward ending the war.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with his country’s negotiating team ahead of the planned meeting with representatives of the U.S. President. Zelensky said Ukraine is ready for talks on ending the war.
Zelensky said, “We are ready for the meeting. Ukraine has always been constructive and will remain so.”
Stating that they want the war to end, Zelensky said, “The war must end. Security guarantees are needed. Peace after the war must have a dignified character.”
Zelensky said Ukraine’s proposals are ready and emphasized the importance of pursuing a coordinated, comprehensive and realistic approach in the talks.
