Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of the twelfth anniversary of the National Guard of Ukraine.

Highlighting the importance of the National Guard on the defense line, Zelensky said, "Today we celebrate the 12th anniversary of the National Guard of Ukraine; this unit has become one of the pillars of our defense and active operations across the entire front line."

Zelensky noted that units such as "Azov" and "Khartiia" carry out their combat duties with honor.

Referring to operations in active combat zones, Zelensky said, "The First Corps of the National Guard, together with our other Defense Forces, is holding the Pokrovsk-Ocheretyne direction in the Donetsk region. The Second Corps is fully carrying out its tasks in the Kharkiv region."

Zelensky also mentioned special units and brigades: "The Third National Guard Brigade, the 18th Sloviansk Brigade, unmanned component units; the 'Lasar Group', 'Omega Wings', 'Typhoon' and the fighters of the Omega Special Purpose Center: every name in the National Guard represents strength."

Zelensky concluded his message by saying, "We are proud of every person who fights for Ukraine and defends it within the ranks of the National Guard. Happy anniversary. Thank you for your strength. Glory to Ukraine!"
