Ukrainian President Zelensky expressed deep appreciation for the resolute support of the United States, stating, “Approximately $2.5 billion in security aid is a significant contribution to strengthening our defenders on the front lines.”

He noted that this support came at a critical moment when Russia has intensified its attacks, even resorting to involving North Korean soldiers and continuing to purchase weapons from North Korea and Iran. Zelensky said, “Every act of solidarity from our partners saves lives, strengthens our independence, and reinforces our resilience. It also proves that democracies are stronger than autocratic aggressors.”

Zelensky emphasized that in 2025, they must continue advancing toward peace to achieve their common goals, saying, “This goal is shared by Ukraine and all its partners. Ukraine, protecting itself from relentless daily attacks, relies on its strategic friends.”
