Ankara, July 7 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that during their meeting in Ankara, he and Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal signed a defense cooperation agreement under the Drone Agreement.

Sharing details about the scope of the agreement and its joint production goals, Zelensky said, "This agreement is more than a way to accelerate cooperation between our countries. It is a step forward and a sign of trust because we have signed such an agreement with a very close friend."
Emphasizing joint defense production, Zelensky stated, "This means a great deal. We will develop joint defense production in both countries, including key capabilities to protect our skies."
Zelensky added that he and the Estonian Prime Minister also discussed diplomatic efforts and the European integration process, saying, "I also briefed the Prime Minister on our diplomatic efforts. We discussed support for Ukraine on its path to the European Union, including the opening of the remaining five negotiation clusters."
