Al Khalifa presented his Letter of Credence to the President of Zimbabwe
Harare, May 29 (Hibya) - Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Ambassador Al Khalifa presented his Letter of Credence to the President of Zimbabwe.
According to a statement issued by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa received the credentials of Mubarak bin Nasser Al Khalifa, the non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Zimbabwe, in Harare.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Al Khalifa conveyed the greetings of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, along with his wishes for the health of the President of Zimbabwe and for continued progress and prosperity for the country and its people.
President Mnangagwa, in turn, asked the Ambassador to convey his greetings to the Emir and expressed his hopes for the Emir's good health and the continued development and prosperity of the State of Qatar. It was noted that the meeting underscored efforts to strengthen diplomatic relations between the two countries.
