Anand: Canada stands with Romania
Ottawa, May 29 (Hibya) - Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand reacted to Russian drones entering Romanian territory, stating that the incident was unacceptable.
Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand reacted to the air attacks targeting Romania.
In her statement, Anand said that Russia’s drone incursion into Romanian airspace was “a clear violation of NATO territory and international law.”
Noting that she had spoken with her Romanian counterpart, Anand stated, “Canada stands with Romania and our NATO allies in the face of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.”
The statement emphasized that Canada will continue its solidarity with NATO allies.
