Al Thani holds phone call with Spanish Foreign Minister Albares
Doha, April 6 (Hibya) - Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares.
According to a statement from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a phone call with Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares.
During the call, developments in military tensions in the region and their serious impacts on regional and international security and stability were discussed, along with ways to resolve all disputes through peaceful means.
Al Thani stressed the need to stop Iran’s unjust attacks against Qatar and other countries in the region.
Albares expressed his solidarity with the State of Qatar, emphasizing the importance of de-escalation, protecting infrastructure and civilian facilities, and ensuring the security of the energy sector.
