Arab League Awards UNRWA
New York, December 2 (Hibya) – UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini announced that the Arab League has awarded a prize to UNRWA teams.
UNRWA Commissioner-General Lazzarini said he was honored to receive the award from the Arab League on behalf of UNRWA teams.
Lazzarini stated that the award recognizes the indispensable role UNRWA plays in the region and added: "It is also a tribute to the approximately 250 team members killed in Gaza since the war began."
