Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi criticized US security policies, saying: “It has become clear that the much-praised US security umbrella is actually full of holes and, instead of deterring, invites problems.”

Stating that the US has requested support from other countries to ensure the security of the Strait of Hormuz, Araghchi said: “The US is now asking others, including China, for help to make the Strait of Hormuz secure.”

Araghchi also called on countries in the region, saying: “Iran calls on brotherly neighboring countries to expel foreign aggressors from their territories, especially considering that the only concern of these forces is Israel.”
