Araghchi met with Mezher in Tehran
Tehran, June 10 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi held a meeting with Jamil Mezher, Deputy Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
Jamil Mezher, who visited Tehran at the head of a delegation composed of members of the movement’s Political Bureau, met with Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi.
During the meeting, Araghchi reaffirmed the principled and firm stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the sacred cause of Palestine and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The minister praised the resistance fighters and martyred leaders in Palestine and Lebanon, emphasizing the necessity of strengthening unity among Palestinian groups against the conspiracies of the Zionist regime.
