Azerbaijani President Aliyev holds talks with Albanian President Begaj
Baku, March 7 (Hibya) - Albanian President Bajram Begaj condemned Iran’s attack on Nakhchivan and held a phone call with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
On March 7, 2026, Albanian President Begaj called Azerbaijani President Aliyev. During the conversation, Begaj strongly condemned Iran’s drone attack on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
President Aliyev expressed his thanks for Albania’s clear and firm stance. During the call, the successful development of relations between the two countries was welcomed, and the contribution of high-level mutual visits and contacts to the progress of relations was highlighted.
The parties also exchanged views on issues on the bilateral agenda.
