Baqaei: US warplanes are putting regional security at risk
Tehran, March 8 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqaei stated that the attacks targeting the US military presence in neighboring countries are defensive in nature and argued that the use of these bases for operations against Iran threatens regional stability.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqaei made a statement regarding the recent escalation of tensions and the operations targeting US bases in the region.
Spokesperson Baqaei said that the logic behind the issue is being ignored and stated:
"To those who insist on ignoring the logic behind our defensive attacks against US military bases and presence in the region: Missiles are launched at Iran from residential areas located in neighboring countries, and US warplanes use the airspace of neighboring countries to attack Iran; all of this puts regional security at risk."
