Berendsen: We will increase pressure on Russia
Amsterdam, May 14 (Hibya) - Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen stated that numerous drones and missiles targeted residential areas during Russia’s large-scale attack on Kyiv and announced that support for Ukraine would continue.
Dutch Foreign Minister Berendsen made a statement regarding Russia’s attack on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.
Berendsen stated that 675 drones and 56 missiles were used in the attacks and that residential areas were targeted. It was reported that an apartment building collapsed as a result of the attacks, with many people killed and injured.
Berendsen said that despite statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding ending the war, the attacks continue, adding that recent events show exactly the opposite.
Berendsen emphasized that the Netherlands would continue supporting Ukraine and increase pressure on Russia.
