Carney: Qatar is a strong partner for Canada
Doha, January 18 (Hibya) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Qatar is one of Canada’s strong partners in trade, the economy, and in promoting global peace and stability.
Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that Qatar is a strong partner for Canada in trade, commercial relations, and in ensuring peace and stability worldwide.
Speaking about his meeting in Doha with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Carney said: “Qatar is a strong partner for Canada in trade, the economy, and in promoting peace and stability around the world.”
Carney added that the talks focused on advancing cooperation between the two countries, saying: “Today in Doha, together with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, we focused on further strengthening this partnership to create more opportunities for Canadians and Qataris.”
