The governments of the United States and Israel announced a new Strategic Cooperation Framework to formalize and deepen their long-standing collaboration in critical technology fields. This initiative, called “Pax Silica,” aims to enhance security through technological superiority, support economic growth, and promote scientific advancement.

Priority areas of the partnership include artificial intelligence (healthcare, cybersecurity, and autonomous systems), space activities, semiconductor technologies, robotics, advanced materials science, and new energy sources. Israel’s research and technology ecosystem will also be integrated into the cooperation as a secure “Pax Silica node.”

The implementation and governance process will be managed by the Joint Economic Development Group, which will provide strategic guidance in areas of cooperation. The statement emphasized that this partnership will make significant contributions to the economic prosperity and security of both countries.

The partnership aims to reinforce the leadership of both the US and Israel in technology and science through research, development, and investment activities.
