Cassis: We discussed cross-border cooperation between Switzerland and Italy
Bern, February 11 (Hibya) - Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis met with Attilio Fontana, the President of the Lombardy Region.
Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis spoke about his diplomatic contacts at the Swiss House.
Cassis said, "I met with the President of the Lombardy Region at the Swiss House. I expressed my gratitude for the support I received after the Crans-Montana tragedy and reiterated our shared solidarity with those affected."
Giving details about the agenda of the meeting, Cassis stated, "We then discussed the bilateral relations between Switzerland and Italy and the various areas of cross-border cooperation."
