According to CCTV, search and rescue operations are continuing after the powerful earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, with Chinese companies actively taking part in humanitarian relief efforts.

Venezuelan National Assembly President Jorge Rodríguez announced that the death toll from the earthquakes has reached 1,943, while the number of injured has exceeded 10,000.

Following the disaster, Chinese companies operating in the region dispatched heavy construction equipment to La Guaira State to support efforts to locate people trapped beneath the rubble.

Company representative Yang Menggi said bulldozers, excavators, and generators were rapidly delivered to the affected area, rescue teams worked continuously, and one person was rescued alive during the operations.

The Chinese Embassy in Venezuela also stated that around 10 Chinese companies contributed to the relief effort by providing equipment, delivering supplies, and participating in search and rescue operations.
