UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper stated that they support developments aimed at extending the ceasefire.
Cooper said, "We welcome developments toward extending the ceasefire. We want to see negotiations resume, a comprehensive agreement reached, and the Strait fully reopened without restrictions or fees."
Regarding the resumption of hostilities, Cooper added, "A return to conflict would be a major setback for the region, the global economy, and the cost of living."
