Costa: We will further deepen our partnership with Moldova
Brussels, June 22 (Hibya) - President of the European Council Antonio Costa stated that the second EU-Moldova Summit is taking place at a critical moment and that the partnership with Moldova will be strengthened even further.
President of the European Council Antonio Costa shared his assessment of the second EU-Moldova Summit.
Emphasizing that the summit is being held just before the start of negotiations on the fundamentals cluster, Costa said: "Our second EU-Moldova Summit could not have taken place at a better time, following a truly historic milestone and immediately before the launch of negotiations on the fundamentals cluster."
Costa stated that together with Maia Sandu they aim to advance cooperation between the EU and Moldova, adding: "Today, together with President Maia Sandu, we will further deepen our partnership."
