Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed both the Ukrainian people and Christians around the world in his Easter message.

Zelensky said: “I sincerely congratulate everyone celebrating Easter today in Ukraine and around the world.”

Emphasizing hope and resilience, Zelensky stated: “Hope is becoming stronger than ever – hope for the victory of life over death, good over evil, and truth over lies.”

Referring to the war conditions in Ukraine, he said: “May the strength and spirit of our people inevitably overcome evil and darkness, the ‘Shaheds’ and missiles, injustice and occupation.”

Zelensky concluded his message by reiterating: “We believe in peace! We believe in Ukraine!”
