Zelensky: Russia is providing intelligence to Iran
Kyiv, April 5 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is providing intelligence support to Iran and that it is being used in attacks on civilian infrastructure.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with the Associated Press that Russia is supporting Iran and that this is linked to attacks in the region.
Zelensky said: “Russia shared satellite intelligence with Iran regarding Israel’s energy system. We are talking about a total of 50–53 facilities. What we are talking about is civilian infrastructure, not something of a military nature.”
Stating that Russia is also transferring its war experience gained in Ukraine, Zelensky said: “The experience Russia gained during the war against Ukraine is being shared with Iran. This also applies to the unmanned aerial vehicles known as ‘Shahed’.”
Criticizing Russia’s approach to negotiations, Zelensky said: “The Russians like to talk about compromises but never reach one. They only speak the language of ultimatums.”
Emphasizing that Ukraine will not step back, Zelensky said: “We cannot retreat. This carries serious risks for us. Russia will gain a stronger position and expand its occupation.”
Zelensky also noted that Ukraine had previously managed similar crises during the opening of the grain corridor in the Black Sea and could share this experience with other countries.
