In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Palestinians Abroad said that Shahin expressed appreciation for Slusarek's work during his term in Palestine. The statement welcomed Czechia's support through development projects and grants in Beit Jala and Beit Sahour, as well as its contributions to cooperation with the Red Cross, the health sector and humanitarian assistance.

Shahin pointed to the importance of strengthening the political dimension of Palestine-Czechia relations and called for Czechia's humanitarian support to also be reflected in its positions and votes in international forums in support of Palestinian rights. Slusarek, for his part, expressed his satisfaction at having served his country in Palestine and stated that bilateral cooperation should be further developed through increased official visits and mutual consultations.
